Tapco Mix 60
Tapco's Mix 60 is a pretty plain compact 6-channel mixer, not unlike Behringer's 802 series a unit of which I used to own. Since with the help of my previous laptop (the tried and true Toshiba Satellite) I managed to blow the Behringer's power supply accidentally, after a while I am replacing it with this unit.
My first impression is: I am pretty sure this thing colours the sound a little. Yet it does it in a very subtle way which is not at all unpleasant. I like the EQs, especially the highs, at 12kHz. Apart from them the sound is suficiently "vanilla".
The preamps on channels 1 and 2 seem noisier than the UB802's. It does look better than the Behringer though! And, oh yeah, one more thing, No blue lights!
